The Embassy in collaboration with Dr. Sanjana Jon organized Cultural event entitled “Celebrate an Evening of Love for Humanity” on 14th February 2024, at the premise of the Embassy.
It was attended by Ambassadors, diplomats, business leaders, philanthropists, renowned Indian artists, as well as media representatives.
While welcoming all invitees, H.E Ambassador Demeke Atnafu stated that humanity is about the human being, human race and described it as an act of kindness, compassion, love, care and respect towards each other. As a country known as a cradle of humanity and ancestral homeland of the human race, Ethiopia offers diverse kind of tourist attractions such as heritage and historical tourism, religion and spiritual tourism, cultural and education tourism, culinary and sport tourism, rural eco and business tourism, Ambassador Demeke invited participants to visit Ethiopia.
Addressing the invitees Dr. Sanjana Jon elaborated about love and walk for humanity underscoring the importance of loving, respecting and caring for one another.
Ethiopian and Indian cultural attires and fashion show the two countries were presented by showcasing the rich and divers culture along with the Ethiopian coffee ceremony.
