H.E. Ambassador Bizunesh Meseret, Chargée d’Affaires of the Embassy, briefed company delegates at the Round Table Discussion on Economic Cooperation for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Development hosted by World Association for Small and Medium Enterprises (WASME) in Noida, India.
In her remarks, H.E. Ambassador Bizunesh underscored the significance of collaborative efforts in unlocking the enormous potential that exists between Ethiopia and India. She highlighted the Ethiopian Government’s commitment to introducing remarkable reforms in the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) policies and incentive packages, and urged Indian SMEs to invest in Ethiopia.
Dr. Sanjiv Layek, Execustive Secretary of WASME, emphasized WASME’s dedication to empowering SMEs and fostering inclusive growth on a global scale. He also added that WASME is planning for a business delegation to explore business and investment opportunities in Ethiopia.
The Embassy and WASME reaffirmed to further boost the economic ties between Ethiopia and India.
