H.E. Ambassador Bizunesh Meseret, Chrgée d’Affaires of the Embassy, briefed a group of infrastructure Public Sector Undertakings (PSU) and company delegates (IRCON, WAPCOS, Lion’s Group, OMBL Infra Projects Pvt Ltd, and GTI Infotel) on the business and investment opportunities in infrastructure sector.
H.E. Ambassador Bizunesh highlighted the Ethiopian Government’s policy reforms aimed at boosting infrastructure development. She also underscored the Government’s relentless commitment to implementing the ongoing infrastructural projects, mainly in renewable energy, transport infrastructure (highways, roads and railways), electrification, and industrial parks.
Engineer Ramesh Kumar, Head of the Delegation and Senior Advisor of World Association for Small and Medium Enterprises (WASME), emphasized the significance of collaborative efforts in unlocking the enormous potential that exists between Ethiopia and India. Besides, he outlined that these infrastructure PSU and companies are interested in energy, transport infrastructure, construction, water management, irrigation, electrification, etc.
WASME is planning for a business delegation to explore business and investment opportunities in Ethiopia.
