H.E. Ambassador Demeke Atnafu delivered presentation on topic entitled “How linkages between Ethiopia and India can trigger changes in higher education landscape in both countries?” on November 8, 2023, at Amity University, Gurugram.
Addressing the audience, Ambassador Demeke commenced his speech by providing a comprehensive overview of Ethiopia, emphasizing its rich history as well as cultural heritage.
The Ambassador underscored the long-standing historic, civilizational, cultural bonds and linkages that have bound Ethiopia and India for centuries, emphasizing key areas of cooperation such as diplomatic, trade, investment, technology, education and shared values and traditions.
Further he expounded the linkages between the two countries in the education sector as well as the importance of forging collaboration and cooperation between the higher institutions of both countries to cement and bolster partnership especially in capacity building sector.
