Indian Company Ready to Invest in Ethiopian Dairy Industry

Ambassador Molalign Asfaw, Deputy Head of Mission, conferred with Mr. Rahul Patel, Director of Healthy Honest Foods Pvt Ltd, on the investment opportunities in Ethiopian dairy processing industry.

The Ambassador remarked that Ethiopia’s huge livestock potential, booming market access, and a relatively low cost of production will offer a tremendous advantage to investors in dairy industry.He also highlighted the Ethiopian Government’s “Yelemat Tirufat”initiative — a development initiative for nutritional opulence,significantly contributed to the country’s dairy industry transformation.

Mr. Rahul affirmed his keenness to set up a state of the art milk processing facility in Ethiopia. He noted that the plant will process plenty of milk and produce a wide range of dairy products.
