The Embassy, in collaboration with the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), organized a Business Forum to explore and promote business and investment opportunities in Ethiopia.
H.E. Deputy Head of Mission Ambassador Bizunesh delivered a keynote speech highlighting the ample business and investment opportunities in Ethiopia. This was followed by a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation that provided detailed insights into opportunities across various sectors. Subsequently, a question-and-answer session and one-on-one discussions fostered direct engagement among participants.
The Forum was well-attended, with over 20 company representatives from the health, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, agriculture, and agro-processing sectors participating. The Embassy and the Chamber are collaborating on organizing a business delegation from these sectors to visit Ethiopia for a pre-investment visit soon. Additionally, an Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony was presented during the forum.
